Our Mission
PoliPointPress was established in 2004 to publish lively books on politics and current affairs. Our authors share their knowledge, experience, personal insight, and passion to contribute fresh perspectives to the national political dialogue.

We support our authors with a cohesive, experienced team of publishing professionals who edit, produce, market, and promote their work. Our hands-on approach is designed to maximize public and industry awareness, and our alliances with publicists and media professionals in New York and Washington, D.C., greatly extend our marketing reach and influence.

Print Book Materials
PoliPointPress books are printed on Cascade Enviro100 Print paper. It contains 100 percent post-consumer fiber and is certified EcoLogo, Processed Chlorine Free, and FSC Recycled. For each ton used instead of virgin paper, we:

  • * Save the equivalent of 17 trees
  • * Reduce air emissions by 2,098 pounds
  • * Reduce solid waste by 1,081 pounds
  • * Reduce the water used by 10,196 gallons
  • * Reduce suspended particles in the water by 6.9 pounds

This paper is manufactured using biogas energy, reducing natural gas consumption by 2,748 cubic feet per ton of paper produced.

The book’s printer, Malloy Incorporated, works with paper mills that are environmentally responsible, that do not source fiber from endangered forests, and that are third-party certified. Malloy prints with soy and vegetable based inks, and over 98 percent of the solid material they discard is recycled. Their water emissions are entirely safe for disposal into their municipal sanitary sewer system, and they work with the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality to ensure that their air emissions meet all environmental standards.

The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality has recognized Malloy as a Great Printer for their compliance with environmental regulations, written environmental policy, pollution prevention efforts, and pledge to share best practices with other printers. Their county Department of Planning and Environment has designated them a Waste Knot Partner for their waste prevention and recycling programs.
